1968 Greeves 250 Challenger “MX5”

In 1968, Greeves was viable contender in the USA motocross circuits. In 1960-61, Greeves won the World Title for 250 CC bikes, piloted by Dave Bickers of England. In the U.S., riders like Gary Jones, who owned this particular bike, and Malcom Smith were known for their repeated National wins on Greeves bikes. This Greeves features a factory installed Ceriani front end as requested by Gary Jones; he did not like the standard Earles forks which were the bike’s trademark. This bike has been featured in VMX Magazine.
