1970 Husqvarna 400 Cross

By 1970, motocross had hit America and it was the rage. Like little league baseball, young boys from 12-15 were riding night motocross on a regular basis. Late in the year, the movie “On Any Sunday” debuted, featuring Malcolm Smith and Steve McQueen riding 1970 Husky 400’s just like this one. This movie solidified the 400 cross Husqvarna as the most iconic off road motorcycle of the period. Recently, Steve McQueen’s actual 400 Husky from the movie was sold at auction for $164,500.

This particular Husky has all the right parts including cables with oilers, original spokes, Trelleborg Tires and all Bufo fasteners. I rode one as a 12 year old and thought I was riding the most powerful motorcycle in the world, they produce amazing horsepower and handle extremely well.
