1966 BSA 441 Victor GP

This is a rare 1966 factory built Victor Grand Prix motocross competition motorcycle. BSA Factory rider Jeff Smith won the FIM 500 cc World Motocross Championship in 1964 and 1965 on a BSA works factory racer.

This is the production model which was offered to the public. Original with oil in frame design. Frame is Reynolds 531 steel. This bike retains all of its original parts with the exception of cables, and rubber products.

This bike is 1 of 3 assembled on about June 7th, 1966, they made batches of 3 to 15 every few days as orders came in. This bike was purchased in January 2013 at the Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction put on by Auctions America. The bike was then sent to Don Harrell for his impeccable restoration.
