1971 Hodaka Super Rat

Hodaka Super Rats were recognized in the early 1970’s as a perfect entry level motocross racer. They were never considered a serious threat for the championship, but they were always there at the finish. Hodaka’s were very reliable and known for the peculiar names, like “Super Rat”, “Combat Wombat”, “Road Toad” and “Dirt Squirt”.

Originally purchased by an Oregon duck club, this bike was acquired in February 2005, a bit rusty, but used sparingly and never raced. The total restoration to concourse condition was performed by Brad and Kelly Owen. The bike has the original “Nitto” tires, and every part is either rebuilt or NOS. It is as stock and accurate as you will find.
