1972 Tyran 125 MX

Some of the chrome plating on this bike has been redone. It has the original frame paint, as well as, new original Dunlop tires from the period. The bike had very little time on it when purchased. Tyrans were made by Mitsubishi to compete in the then lucrative 125 CC Motocross market.

Unfortunately, Ted Wassell, the designer, died prior to its full release. Because of probate and litigation, the full release was postponed by 2 years, so the engineering and technology was already outdated compared to the main 4 Japanese manufactures; and, the bike never caught on.

VMX Magazine featured this bike as it is a very nice example with all of its original components.
