This is another very rare motorcycle. The 1964 World Campion, Joel Robert, won the title riding a bike very much like this one. In 1965, the same bike won the World Championship for Victor Arbekon of Russia.
These bikes were actually replicas of the CZ factory work bikes. Unfortunately, only a small quantity were shipped to the USA, as only a few were built and most went to the European countries. In fact, it took until 1968, for “Cycle Guide” to get a 1965, to do an actual evaluation and article on the bike.
My guess is that there are probably only 150 of these bikes still in existence, and only 50 in the U.S.A. This one was restored with the help of “Bertus”, the CZ Guru; it is a very correct example, including the hand pounded air box and pin striped wheels.
